Catherine believes all people are capable of meaningful growth, healing and transformation. Working together towards identified goals, she is committed to helping clients gain a deeper understanding of themselves and relationships, including recognizing unwanted patterns in life that contribute to unhappiness, stress and struggle. 

She is a licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of clinical experience and 30 years of working with individuals, children, teens, young adults, families and couples in a variety of health care, agency and school settings. 

Catherine uses a strength-based practice that supports a client centered approach with outcomes you desire.  Evidenced-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy,  Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Solution focused Therapy. She has specific training in Internal Family Systems Therapy, Christian counseling, and spiritual direction. 

In addition, she incorporates approaches that draw upon insight-oriented, trauma-informed, mindful, and holistic living. 

Grounded in Christian tradition, she will support you in your own spiritual path.

Her speciality areas are issues related to death, dying, grief and loss, trauma, addiction, depression, anxiety, life transitions and navigating relationships. As a trauma informed therapist, she uses an integrative approach that honors your values and needs. 

Over the course of my career, she has worked extensively counseling adults, couples, groups, children, teens and families. Her therapeutic work has included helping people with a wide variety of concerns including adjustment, stress, illness, trauma, relationships, loss, grief, bereavement, parenting issues, adoption and foster care, recovery and personal growth.
