Your care is our priority.
When seeking counseling many hope to use their medical benefits that may cover mental health care. We completely understand the necessity for this and will work to find the help you need. We have chosen not to panel with insurance companies for multiple reasons, however, we are able to charge HSA cards as well as provide a superbill for services rendered. This may help in requesting reimbursement from your insurance company.
There are several reasons we have chosen not to panel with insurance companies:
Philosophical
–
We put our client’s needs first and prioritize confidentiality. Insurance companies may dictate care by requesting a premature diagnosis, confidential records, or exercising other practices that directly impact the quality of care possible.
Practical
–
Many insurance companies can interfere when it comes to the care of clients.
This can include but is not limited to: refusal to pay,
request for progress notes, inappropriate diagnoses,
cutting provider pay, and demanding reimbursement
for services previously rendered.
Limitations
–
Insurance companies only pay for services
they believe qualify as necessary.
This does not include spiritual care
or working with a professional coach.
When it comes to professional services, our providers are dedicated to giving clients the highest quality of care without a third party dictating what is best for the insured.
We understand that this can create financial stress and our Client Care Coordinator is ready to help you figure out your best option.
If your current financial resources are limiting your ability to pursue healing, we have qualified, graduate interns who are able to provide discounted counseling. These interns are supervised by a qualified Licensed Professional Counselor. Groups, led by professional counselors, are also available and are cost-effective when seeking treatment.
If you would still like to meet with one of our providers, please discuss with our Client Care Coordinator, LeAnn Farris, about possible discounted rates.
