GRADUATE-LEVEL COUNSELING Practicum

“I can’t change my tragedies, nor can I really eliminate (fully) the characters in my story, but I can write a new plot.” – Dan Allender

This quote captures the heart of the counseling journey: while we cannot undo the past, we can learn to reengage with it in new ways, with courage, compassion, and hope. Counseling offers a space to explore old wounds with new perspective, to recognize patterns that no longer serve us, and to shape a narrative that aligns with who we are becoming. Whether you're navigating trauma, loss, relationship struggles, or personal growth, this is a place to begin rewriting the story, not by erasing the past, but by discovering new meaning within it.

Jennifer is passionate about creating space for people to tell their stories, to be truly seen, heard, and known. She deeply believes that while we are often wounded in relationships, it is also through relationships that healing takes place. If you're looking for someone to sit with you in your pain and walk alongside you in your journey, Jennifer considers it a sacred honor to step into that space with you. Her own story of brokenness, and the healing she experienced through connection and compassion, fuels her commitment to walk with others toward restoration.

Jennifer spent time living in Southeast Asia, where she found joy in exploring waterfalls, hiking mountain trails, relaxing by the beach, and connecting with people from diverse and beautiful cultures. Her journey has also included serving as a chaplain resident in Memphis hospitals, offering support to individuals and families during some of life’s most difficult moments. In her free time, she enjoys traveling with her husband. Whether it’s being outdoors or enjoying live music, Jennifer is most at home where there’s beauty, adventure, and meaningful connection.
