Jordan Royals
M.S., LPC-MHSP
Jordan has a long standing history of working with children, adolescents, and young adults who are navigating the difficult road of overcoming trauma and the emotional and physical scars that remain after the dust has settled. Trauma has a way of stunting emotional and physical growth. It has a way of making us feel that we have lost our voices, that we are not valued, that we do not have a purpose, and as if the only way to be heard is to engage in risky behaviors or defiance. Finding hope may seem impossible. However, beginning to explore and understand the impact that trauma has had on our character enables us to move forward.
As a clinician, Jordan is passionate about encouraging others as they break through challenges in their lives. She desires to illuminate hope, compassion, and a sense of security as they navigate through the darkest parts of their experience to reach a place of acceptance and safety.
Jordan has eight years of experience working with individuals that are overcoming grief, trauma, emotional disorders, behavioral problems, family issues, and eating disorders. Along with these areas, she also have experience working with depression, anxiety, and learning disabilities.
Jordan is a native to Memphis, Tennessee. She attended an assortment of different schools throughout elementary, middle, and high school, eventually earning her high school degree from Ridgeway in 2007.
